📍Jabi Lake Mall, Bala Sokoto Way, Jabi, Abuja
This weekend was for Argungu ! Been hyped about going there for a while because it’s on the waterfront! Argungu is a seafood restaurant by ‘Nkoyo’ which pride itself of it’s beautiful Nigerian cuisine…
What’s a better way to have lunch than in a nice area surrounded by beautiful plants and traditionally handcrafted furniture/decorations that overlooks the lake?
Argungu situated in Kebbi State, is popular for its ‘Fishing Festival’ that occurs every year but has been in hiatus since 2009. The festival mainly comprises of a fishing competition between various fishermen/women on who gets the biggest fish! There are also many other fun-filled activities that take place.
So it makes sense that Argungu (the restaurant) is named that because of it’s specialty in seafood.

REVIEW OF FOOD:
Grilled Mixed Seafood Platter
(Boneless Giwan Ruwa, Grouper Fillet, King Prawn & Squid)
Although disappointed by the portion size, I really loved the seafood platter. It was nice to try various types of fish all on one plate. The salad that came with it also paired greatly!
Dozen Grilled Chicken Wings
(Marinated in Nigerian Chilli & Fire Grilled)
Yup, I have an obsession with chicken wings. Actually, chicken in general! Always on a mission to find the best wings, and this is definitely among the top ones.
Deep Blue Sky
(Lemonade with curaçao)
I mean look at this beauty. Seemed right to order it cause of the weather.
Jollof Rice
Vegetable Fried Rice
These were both nice. Like the Jollof Rice Better.
Peppersoup
A definite must try, it had various types of fish in it.
