Late lunch at Marrakech yesterday! Tbh, I was skeptical about visiting cause I had heard more negative reviews than good ones. Regardless, I thought I & @9jafoodphotographer should visit it and see for ourselves.
AMBIENCE:
In regards to the interior decoration, I wasn’t particularly a fan of the choice of furniture, but I liked certain details, such as the geometric patterns, light fixtures, and ofcourse the art pieces on the wall! What I found most interesting was the shadows the arabesque pattern on the glazed panels created.
SERVICE:
We were given complimentary tea as we sat. Waitress was nice and helpful. Food came in under 20 minutes!
FOOD:
Quite authentic cuisine! I mean I haven’t been to Morocco, but I could taste the spices in the food which was a plus! Nice presentation and overall good portion sizes also.

SALMAH’S SIDENOTE:
I personally wouldn’t want to dine in here again. Tables were awkward and whatnot, I’d probably just get takeout and eat at home. If you’re a fan of shisha, this would be a nice spot for you, although I think you smoke indoors.
REVIEW OF FOOD:
Grilled Chicken Skewers – N3500
Urghh. Wish I could rewind time to eat this again. It was marinated nicely and super tender. Beautiful!
Mandi Rice w Spicy Grilled Chicken – N3500
Mandi rice was nice in my opinion, although @9jafoodphotographer wasn’t a fan of it cause of the cardamom seeds.
Marrakech Chicken Wings – N1800
Loved the seasoning of the wings!
Fresh Juice (Orange & Pineapple) – N1000
Could tell that this was fresh. I absolutely loved it.
