Two weekends back, Husna babyy was amazing enough to treat me to some burgers x milkshakes, and of course we dragged Nabila with us! This was my first ever visit, so let‘s gerrit.

AMBIENCE:

I most definitely love the retro diner theme! Checkered floors, booths, jukeboxes, the counter and it’s stools, everything! Made me feel like I was in an episode of Riverdale and was at Pops’ for dinner w Betty x Josie.

The vibe upstairs was totally different, which I thought was nice. Wooden furniture and all, seemed more like a sports bar, cause of the football jerseys and banners.

SERVICE:

Everything went smooth while we dined. However, I wish they had those baskets that had all the essentials: BBQ Sauce, Tabasco, Ketchup, Mayo etc, on the table.

Johnny Rockets lived up to it’s hype. The burgers were spot on!

SALMAH’S SIDENOTE:

Nice food and all but quite expensive please. I remember friends would say something like “I want to go to Johnny Rockets”, and another would reply asking “do you have Johnny Rockets money?” Thought it was all banter until now. Like why is a milkshake N3400 fogosake?

REVIEW OF FOOD:

The Spicy Houston – N4900

Went for the double cause mans was hungry! The patties were cooked and seasoned perfectly. However, I wasn’t a fan of the shredded lettuce, it’s a personal thing I don’t like/get. Like just leave the vegetable the way it is please.

Full Fries – N1400

I mean, they could’ve been more generous with the portion size. Can’t imagine what the ‘half fries’ would look like.

Rocket Wings – N3600

Slightly disappointed. They were good, but I’ve definitely had better.

I had the Oreo cookies and cream! It tasted so great! And I love that they give you the metallic cup with some of your shake. Still think it’s overpriced though!
