📍Downtown Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd, Dubai.
This was the first restaurant I visited! We were hungry after taking a walk through La Mer and we somehow ended up here at FilFul for dinner.
AMBIENCE:
I remember loving the dark theme of this place. Apparently it’s cuisine is Beirut Street food, and I loved how the space resonated that.
From the musical instruments and other elements hung on the wall to the furniture and the board games on the table, all worked well together in showing an idea of what the streets of Beirut may seem like.
SERVICE:
Apparently Yusrah is a regular there (funny back story) so our waitress was the nicest. She ensured everything was provided and suggested stuff off the menu.
FOOD:
I don’t think you can go wrong with Lebanese food . Defined flavours with distinct ingredients.
Mint Lemonade – AED 26
Complimentary Vegetables x Oil
Ras Asfour – AED 45
Taouk Sandwich Wrap – AED 26
BILLING:

Total Bill: AED 105 (inc. VAT)
REVIEW OF FOOD:
Complimentary Vegetables x Oil
Taouk Sandwich Wrap – AED 26
(Marinated chicken breast cubes, garlic paste,
pickles & fries)
This was quite nice although I imagined the fries would be on the side and not actually inside the wrap. But obv I forgot it was a Lebanese restaurant and that’s just how it’s done with them.
Ras Asfour – AED 45
(Small tenderloin cubes, lemon juice, garlic & sundried tomato)
Loved the zestiness in this one. It’s presented with a side of naan bread.
Mint Lemonade – AED 26
This was sooo good. Right amount of ice and mint.
