Avobar was one of the places I was super excited to visit cause of one reason: the ‘Avo Bun Burger’. It’s a burger with an avocado as buns instead of bread. I know, mind-blowing! 🤯
I appreciated the interior decor as it was minimal and earthy, felt it translated what the restaurant was about. For food, check previous and next post to see what I had. 🕺🏾

Avo Bun Burger – £14.95
(our signature dish – an avo bun with a sweet potato & red lentil patty, coconut & herb dressing served with vegan slaw)
This was an interesting one. There was a lobster option but I decided to try the ‘vegan’ option cause why not?
In summary, i think it’s safe to say I wouldn’t survive a day if I ever went vegan. Nope. Run me my meat please haha. It generally just tasted bland, the dressing however made it better and added a little taste to it.
I really liked the play in texture though. The smoothness of the sweet potato patty and avocado and then the crunchiness of the various salad leaves.
