My tastebuds went on an exciting adventure yesterday at Café Society. It was a really nice day, sunny and actually warm(er). Couldn’t waste such a day, so we decided to go soak up some Vitamin D and enjoy good food at the same time.
AMBIENCE:
It was quite empty once we got in, so it let us appreciate the interior decor a lot more. The use of wood as a finishing x furniture made the space feel really warm and cozy (I didn’t want to leave)
FOOD:
What excited me the most about this cafe was the range they had. There certainly was something for everyone! Definitely coming back for sweet dishes since I’ve given savoury a chance.
Fajita Sizzle Wrap – £4.50
New Yorker – £4.50
Lemon x Ginger Cheesecake – £3.95
Drinks:
Flaked Hot Chocolate – (don’t remember)
Cappuccino – £2.30
BILLING:
Number of People: 2
Total Bill: £15.75
SALMAH’S SIDENOTE:
Go for the flaked hot chocolate and thank me later. ✨ Can’t believe I’ve slept on this place this whole time.
REVIEW OF FOOD:
Flaked Hot Chocolate 🍫🥛
This tall glass of chocolate goodness is definitely a must try!
Cappuccino – £2.30
Daily dose of coffee!
Fajita Sizzle Wrap – £4.50
(fajita chicken, peppers, red onions, cucumber, tomato + garlic mayo)
The combination of spices, the garlic mayo, and the tenderness of the chicken caused an explosion in my mouth. Even though I was clearly full, I couldn’t stop eating.
New Yorker – £4.50
(roast chicken, bbq sauce, tomato, monterey jack cheese)
Simply put, If this wrap was a song, it’d be “Juicy by Doja Cat”. The cheese and sauce pulled it all together.
