Wanted something quick for breakfast yesterday and I remembered I once noted down an easy dish from watching an episode of ‘Food Insider’ and ‘Somebody feed Phil’.
The dish is called ‘Shakshuka’ and it’s a popular breakfast option in the MiddleEast. Its a dish of eggs poached in a rich and flavourful tomato sauce.
Like any other meal, you can customise it by adding protein like lamb sausages, or herbs like basil or parsley or even cheese if you’re a fan.
But cause I wanted something quick, I only garnished it with mushrooms. However, cause of how much I enjoyed it, I’m looking forward to adding more ingredients the next time I find myself making it again.
Will you be making Shakshuka for breakfast too? 🤤
