Paparimz Pizza | Abuja

📍Food City, 3 Bangui St, Wuse II

The other day at Paparimz Pizza. Pizza is one of my favorite comfort foods and I got to see how Paparimz makes theirs from scratch! 😍

I’m a solid Galaxy Pizza babe, but I believe in trying new or other spots just to know what’s out there. One thing I liked about Paparimz was their unique mix of flavors and options in their menu like the Seafood Caribbean Mix Pizza.

AMBIENCE:

Located in Wuse 2’s Food City, Paparimz is a relatively new pizza spot that serves a range of fast food such as pizza, subs, wings, drinks etc. the space is quite small, but encourages seating both inside & outside. My favorite thing about entering the restaurant was the scent of spices which made my mouth water!

FOOD:

As it was a tasting, I got to try a variety of items from various sections, so let’s dive right in!

Half & Half Pizza – N4000 – N5,500

Hawaiian & Philly Cheese Steak

I’ve always been on the fence with pineapples on my pizza, but safe to say, this has fully forced me over.

I liked the flavors of both pizzas, however I would have preferred a thinner dough. It was a bit more bread than toppings for me with each bite.

Subs & Wraps

Pepperoni & Cheese Sub – N2000

Avocado Chicken Wrap – N2000

The pepperoni & cheese sub was basically a pizza, but a sandwich, which I found interesting & fun. Enjoyed that, but would’ve loved more cheese in there.

The Avo chicken wrap was also wholesome, but the avocado to chicken ratio was off. We’d have liked more chicken than avocado with each bite.

Classic BBQ Wings – N2000

You see this, this is how you make wings. Cooked through, crispy despite the sauce it’s been tossed in and ofcourse a balance between sweet & savory. I’d definitely be back for this!

Milkshakes – N1500 each

Frappuccino & Strawberry x Banana

I got to try the Frappe while Nabils tried the Strawberry & Banana. Absolutely loved the frappe. Nothing so special about it, but it’s a milkshake done right which is rare in the city. It’s prepared prior btw, so it’s a great grab & go option.

Mocktails – N500 each

Lemonade & Mojito

The mocktails were great! Something to add to your meal. The mojito was somewhat underwhelming however the lemonade was quite refreshing. Looking forward to trying other flavors.

SERVICE:

Most items such as drinks, wings & desert are made prior to orders, so wait time is cut in half.
