Another Lagos trip, another brunch place off my bucket list! I’ve been following Maple Kitchen & Bar since they launched & I couldn’t wait to be back in the city to visit.

I arrived at the restaurant with a massive craving for breakfast meals. Something sweet & savory like the Wings & Pancakes. Unfortunately brunch was only until 2pm & we got there at 3ish. Huge bummer.

Pain Perdu

To settle the sweet cravings, I went for the Pain Perdu. It was the closest I could get to french toast & I knew once I had a mouthful that I made the right choice. Toooooo much ice cream imo, but everything paired so well.

Pulled Beef Tacos

Also ordered the Pulled Beef Tacos to satisfy the savory cravings & wow!

Not a fan of hard shell tacos, so the filling was the star for me! Juicy, tender & well flavored beef. Loved that the veggies were super minimal & didn’t overpower the entire taco like most places do.

Absolutely loved my visit to Maple, can’t wait to try more on another visit soon!
